Adama Diomande made it nine goals from his first seven games for LAFC to condemn Orlando City to their ninth defeat on the trot. LAFC defender Omar Gaber will join Pyramids FC of the Egyptian Premier League, after the MLS club sold him because of a "family matter" in Egypt. Gaber, 26, had been on loan at LAFC from FC Basel, but the MLS team bought out his option to make the deal permanent before subsequently selling him on to Pyramids for an undisclosed fee. The move was made to accommodate a personal situation for Gaber, who is a native of Cairo and played for Egypt at the World Cup in Russia.
